At the NATO Summit in The Hague, Ionuț Moșteanu, the new Minister of Defense, will sign a document with his Dutch counterpart for the donation of 18 F-16 fighter jets. These planes, which will be used to train NATO and Ukrainian pilots, will strengthen the Romanian Air Force, which will have more than 70 F-16s at its disposal. In addition, Romania will receive 32 F-35s by 2030, necessitating the planning of new pilot training centers.
