Mayor Ștefan Ilie, president of PNL Tulcea, rejects Hubert Thuma's camp and argues that PNL must remain in opposition.

The mayor of Tulcea municipality, Ștefan Ilie, stated that he is not part of Hubert Thuma's camp, criticizing the premature statements of some liberal leaders regarding the maintenance of PNL in government after the PSD and AUR's motion of censure.

Ilie accused PSD of provoking the political crisis out of fear of Ilie Bolojan, emphasizing that their actions have been to the detriment of the Romanian people. The mayor stated that PNL should remain in opposition and unite around serious leaders, such as Ilie Bolojan and Ciprian Ciucu.

He concluded that those who dismissed the Government should be allowed to lead, highlighting the need for an internal reorganization of the party.
