Laura Vicol has left PSD and joined the National Party for Recovery and Resilience (PNRR), where she will hold the position of vice president and legal advisor. She believes that PNRR is a new and clean party that can be trusted. The party, recently launched by Cristian Popescu Piedone, is in the process of strengthening and attracting new members. Vicol was recently released from preventive detention, while Piedone is facing legal issues, being under judicial control.
