Moșteanu emphasized the importance of maintaining certain specialties in operational reserve, considering that the necessary competencies for modern warfare could exceed the current capabilities of the reserve. He mentioned that, within the framework of the bill, the repeal of the old law is proposed once the new law comes into force, ensuring compliance with existing contracts with reservists. The minister announced that he will come up with a proposal to amend the legislation to Parliament, in order to address current defense needs.
