Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan discussed the teachers' request to return to a teaching norm of 18 hours per week and stated that this is not possible. He explained that the current norm of 20 hours is already at the minimum European level, compared to other countries such as Germany, where the norm is 24 hours.

Bolojan emphasized that education needs to be stabilized and that available resources must be used efficiently to improve the quality of education. He also mentioned that funding for higher education institutions should be correlated with graduates' results in the labor market, arguing that it is inefficient to allocate the same amount for faculties with different employment rates.
