Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan said that due to the almost total consumption of the budget allocated to infrastructure projects, only 35% of the initiatives within the National Program 'Anghel Saligny' will be able to continue. Projects at an advanced stage, such as those on roads and water networks, will be prioritized, but will not receive additional funding. Bolojan stressed that, regardless of the government, financial constraints will limit the continuation of these investments. PSD interim president Sorin Grindeanu challenged the suspension of investments, demanding a detailed analysis for each project.
