At a press conference, Education Minister Daniel David presented the proposed measures in the context of the economic crisis. He emphasized the importance of hiring new staff, without changing salaries, and reaffirmed commitments to allocate 1% of GDP to research and 15% to education over the next five years. David highlighted the complexity of the education system in Romania and recognized that although there were additional financial resources, they were not targeted effectively.
