Gigi Nețoiu, independent candidate for the Bucharest City Hall, posted on Facebook messages in which he claims to have anticipated the election results before the polls closed. He assures Bucharest residents that they made the best choice, mentioning Nicușor as President and Bolojan as Prime Minister, as well as Ciucu as Mayor. Nețoiu wishes Bucharest residents "happy holidays" and announces a congratulatory message from Nicușor, which is supposed to come "directly from Paris." In another post, he criticizes the Social Democratic Party and Daniel Băluță, stating that they have been "working like clockwork."
