In a statement to Digi24, Dominic Fritz, the leader of USR, expressed dissatisfaction with the behavior of PSD within the Coalition, accusing them of not wanting to give up the advantages of governance, nor to take responsibility for important decisions, such as the reform of special pensions. Tensions rose after PSD requested the formation of a working group for this reform, which led to Sorin Grindeanu's departure from the meeting. Fritz emphasized the difficulty of negotiating with those who benefit from special pensions, stating that they cannot be blackmailed by magistrates who refuse to give up their privileges.

He also mentioned the need to analyze the reasoning of the Constitutional Court to understand the nature of the issues related to the reform project. In the context of the elections for the Bucharest City Hall, Fritz reiterated USR's commitment to addressing these challenges.
