The meeting at the Cotroceni to form a coalition government did not lead to a consensus between the leaders of PSD, PNL, USR and UDMR. PSD insists on continuing the 'rotating' prime minister, while the other parties are opposed. The talks have been tense, particularly over money in the PNRR, where former minister Cristian Ghinea accused the current health minister, Alexandru Rafila, of a lack of funds for hospitals. The conflict was interrupted by Kelemen Hunor, and President Nicușor Dan suggested the possibility of appointing a technocrat prime minister.
