The leaders of the governing coalition, Ilie Bolojan, Sorin Grindeanu, Dominic Fritz, and Kelemen Hunor, are meeting today at 10:00 AM to discuss the unblocking of the state budget, after the PSD blocked the budget debates. This blockage was caused by the rejection by PNL, USR, and AUR parliamentarians of a PSD amendment of 1.1 billion lei intended for pensioners' aid. Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan emphasized the importance of a responsible budget for Romania, while the PSD announced that it would not vote for the budget of the Ministry of Finance. AUR refused to support the PSD amendment, which further complicated the negotiations. The coalition leaders hope to reach a consensus following this decisive meeting.
