On Saturday, Ciprian Ciucu, the general mayor of Bucharest, commented in an interview on the relationship with PSD, suggesting that the social democrats are playing a double game within the governing coalition. He mentioned that, although he collaborates with PSD in the General Council, they behave differently in the public space. Ciucu emphasized the importance of maintaining a majority in order to govern the city effectively, considering that many of his proposals have been rejected by the PSD-PUSL majority. In response, Daniel Băluță, the mayor of Sector 4, accused Ciucu's behavior of being rude and called him an amateur lacking solutions. Băluță criticized Ciucu's statements, deeming them defamatory and characteristic of a weak person. He urged for a more serious collaboration and emphasized that Ciucu should focus on the real issues of Bucharest residents, instead of making accusations.
