On Wednesday, several personalities and formations from the right, democratic and pro-European area announced their support for Ciprian Ciucu in the race for the Capital City Hall. PNL communicated that the messages conveyed during the conference emphasize the necessity of unity and the importance of continuing the modernization of Bucharest. Dragoș Pîslaru, the Minister of Investments, highlighted Ciucu's competence, while Ulian Hatmanu from REPER pointed out the extremist danger and the need to unite the reformist right. Vlad Gheorghe, the withdrawn independent candidate, stated that Ciucu is the only one with real chances to confront PSD and the extremist candidates. Ludovic Orban, the president of the Forța Dreptei Party, emphasized Ciucu's administrative results. He thanked for the support and highlighted the importance of electoral mobilization to prevent the City Hall from falling into the hands of inexperienced candidates.
