Ciprian Ciucu, the general mayor of the Capital, stated that although the scenario of early elections has not been officially discussed within the PNL, it could become the final solution in the context of the current political crisis, in which parties are failing to reach a consensus.
Ciprian Ciucu emphasized that political parties should not be afraid of the vote of the Romanians. He also stated that President Nicușor Dan does not deserve to be suspended, even though he appointed a prime minister from PNL without consulting the party.
Ciucu mentioned that the political situation could be unblocked through successive minority governments or through early elections, emphasizing the lack of trust in PSD's statements. He considered that PNL should take over the leadership of the government, given the current circumstances.
