The Mayor of Sector 6, Ciprian Ciucu, reacted to the statements of AUR leader, George Simion, who suggested that the authorities have rehabilitated a building for migrants, while Romanians live in worse conditions. Ciucu explained on Facebook that the respective building is a private complex, converted into a hotel, which temporarily houses construction workers, not migrants. He emphasized that the building is on the list of those to be rehabilitated, but that this process depends on the budget.

The mayor also mentioned that during his term, 362 buildings have been rehabilitated and that the rehabilitation of infrastructure continues. Ciucu criticized Simion's campaign style, accusing him of propaganda and lies, and reaffirmed his commitment to improve living conditions for all citizens.
