Ciprian Ciucu, the new general mayor of the Capital, stated that, having a short mandate, he will prioritize the completion of already started projects, such as Dimitrie Pompeiu, Prelungirea Ghencea, and Pasajul Basarab, which are in a state of degradation. The mayor emphasizes that he will not announce new projects, as the budget does not allow for such initiatives in the next two and a half years. In the first stage, Ciucu will focus on the maintenance of the city, mentioning issues related to green spaces, paving, street furniture, and the improper parking of cars on sidewalks.
