Radu Miruță, the Minister of Economy, stated that, upon the expiration of the price cap on food, the coalition will analyze the impact on the budget. Decisions will be made unanimously, and the extension or removal of the cap depends on the figures from the Ministry of Finance. Miruță emphasized that recent measures are starting to have effects and that there is no quick solution to the economic problems. The PSD requested clarifications regarding rumors of abandoning the price cap, stating that the subject has not been discussed in the coalition.
