Ilie Bolojan said that the government will implement two VAT thresholds, replacing the current three, and details will be provided next week. Among the tax measures under consideration are an increase in excise duties on alcohol and fuel, as well as additional capital taxation on banks and gambling. The government aims to improve revenue collection and tackle tax evasion to avoid risks from rating agencies.
