Former president Traian Băsescu claims that there is no other governing option than the current alliance, emphasizing that the problem is not the leader of PNL, Ilie Bolojan, but Sorin Grindeanu, the head of PSD, "who does not understand that the country is in a moment of great difficulty."

"The big problem is not Bolojan, it is Grindeanu, who does not understand that the country is in a moment of great difficulty due to the extremely high interest rates we are paying. He is not capable of seeing, he is desperate to keep his position which I don't know what it is for if it doesn't serve this country. He is more lost in contradictions," said Traian Băsescu on Sunday evening, at Digi 24.
