AUR has submitted a simple motion in the Chamber of Deputies against the PSD Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, accusing him of mismanaging the energy crisis.

The AUR party, led by George Simion, submitted a simple motion on Wednesday in the plenary session of the Chamber of Deputies against the PSD Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan. AUR accuses Ivan of worsening the energy crisis in Romania, claiming that he remained indifferent to the closure of traditional energy capacities as a result of European commitments.

Among the reasons cited are the implementation of inadequate energy policies, the demolition of traditional energy infrastructure, and the increase in energy prices, which are the highest in the EU relative to purchasing power. AUR states that the closure of the energy groups in Rovinari, Turceni, Ișalnița, and Craiova will significantly reduce the capacity to supply energy. Additionally, AUR intends to submit a simple motion against the Minister of Transport, Ciprian Șerban. Simple motions do not lead to the dismissal of a minister, but only to the expression of a political position.
