The Association for the Defense of Human Rights in Romania - Helsinki Committee (APADOR-CH) has sued the Government of Romania after it refused to provide information about military aid granted to Ukraine. The APADOR-CH request includes minimal details, such as the number and date of the decisions, but the Government has invoked the secrecy of this information. The organization accuses the Executive of an abusive practice and reminds that it has won similar lawsuits in the past. The Minister of Defense explained that the information is classified by the Supreme Council of National Defense, arguing that transparency could affect military strategy.
