During a press conference, Ana Ciceală launched her candidacy for the Mayor of the Capital, supported by the SENS and URS.PDF parties. She promised a city built for the long term, centered on citizens' needs. Ciceală emphasized the importance of working with all parties in the General Council and announced an online donation campaign. President of SENS, Andrei Macsut, argued that Ana is an election of integrity and hard work, necessary to change Bucharest for the better. The local by-elections must be organized within 90 days, and until then, the duties of mayor are exercised by the interim deputy mayor.
