The Minister of Investments and European Projects, Dragoș Pîslaru, was asked about the appointment of Alina Gîrbea, the sister-in-law of the USR candidate for the Capital City Mayor, Cătălin Drulă, to the position of state secretary in MIPE. Pîslaru stated that it is not his role to analyze the personal aspects of the appointment, but to coordinate the institution. He emphasized that Alina Gîrbea meets all the necessary conditions for this position, stating that she has a solid CV and relevant professional experience.

Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan decided to release Luminița Zezeanu from her position, who was appointed by former Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, and appointed Gîrbea, who was a candidate in the 2024 European Parliament elections.
