Adrian Veștea, the third vice president of PNL, stated that the party must remain in power, even after the vote of the censure motion submitted by PSD and AUR, which led to the dismissal of the government led by Ilie Bolojan.

On Facebook, Veștea emphasized the importance of negotiations with pro-European parties and finding solutions for continuing governance, mentioning the responsibility of local liberal elected officials in managing the administration. He highlighted that PNL mayors face concrete challenges in their communities and need a party to support them. Veștea argued that PNL must focus on implementing projects and delivering results, not on withdrawing from governance.
