The US Congress and the Embassy of Romania have relaunched the Romania-US Friendship Group, highlighting the importance of the strategic partnership in the face of global challenges.

At the Capitol, the relaunch of the Romania-U.S. Friendship Group took place, with the participation of influential members of Congress. Co-chairs Mike Turner and Tom Suozzi reaffirmed that Romania is a reliable ally, and the strategic partnership is essential for regional stability. The event celebrated 28 years of the Romanian-American Strategic Partnership, highlighting Romania's contribution to security in the Black Sea and the commitment to strengthen collaboration in areas such as security and trade. Romania's Ambassador, Andrei Muraru, emphasized the desire to enhance the partnership.
