The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a travel warning for Nepal, raising the alert level to 6/9, in the context of the deteriorating security situation due to recent violent protests. The MFA recommends that Romanian citizens avoid non-essential travel and comply with the restrictions imposed by the authorities. Additionally, Romanian citizens in Nepal are advised to report to the Romanian Embassy in India. The Prime Minister of Nepal has resigned, and anti-corruption protests continue to cause clashes with the police.
