Dragoș Pîslaru said that by the end of the year, the social cards will receive two installments of 125 lei each, intended for people with low incomes. The delays were caused by the depletion of European funds by the former government, and the current government has negotiated with the European Commission to increase them. The cards could be supplied in September, once the necessary legislative framework is finalized.
