Trade unions in Romania meet to draw up a joint plan of action against the government's austerity measures, accusing the authorities of unilateral decisions. They are discussing organizing protests and a possible general strike. Students and pupils have also already started protests against the reduction in the scholarship fund, which affects the number of beneficiaries.
