Romania has carried out a new medical evacuation from the Gaza Strip, bringing 12 pediatric patients and 36 family members to the country for treatment.

On Wednesday, Romania coordinated a medical evacuation operation from the Gaza Strip, bringing in 12 pediatric patients severely affected by lack of treatment and 36 accompanying persons. The operation was carried out with the support of several Romanian institutions and non-governmental organizations, using a Hercules C130 aircraft. The evacuated patients will be treated in hospital facilities in Norway and some will be transported to France. The humanitarian situation remains critical, with an alarming number of deaths due to malnutrition in Gaza.
