<p>Roberta Metsola will be in Timisoara on May 22 to receive the Timisoara Prize for European Values, an award given to personalities who promote European values. The ceremony will be streamed online, and before the ceremony, Metsola will talk to 800 pupils and students about Europe. Although the award includes a €30,000 prize money, Metsola declined the money, which will be reallocated for the 2026 edition. The jury that chose her praised her leadership in crises and support for Ukraine and Moldova.
