PSD interim leader Sorin Grindeanu said the party does not support the Pillar 2 pensions bill in its current form, calling for discussions to be preceded by measures to eliminate privileges and reform the administration. Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan defends the changes, arguing that they would ensure the long-term stability of the system and allow for more efficient management of private pension funds. Bolojan explained that the money in Pillar 2 is intended exclusively for beneficiaries and that the proposed changes aim to prevent sudden withdrawals in the future.
