Hăncescu stated that the educational system is the most affected by recent fiscal measures and that protests will begin with the opening of the school year in front of the Victoria Palace and Cotroceni. He accused the Government of ignoring education for minimal savings and challenged the Prime Minister's statements about reducing the teaching norm. FSLI expects a massive mobilization, estimating nearly 30,000 participants in the protests. Hăncescu emphasized the need to return to normalcy and warned that, without a solution, street protests and possibly a general strike will follow.
