After the meeting with the President of Romania, Simion Hăncescu stated that over 20,000 teachers participated in the protest on September 8, and the protest actions will continue. Marius Nistor mentioned that a general strike is not excluded, emphasizing the demands for the resignation of Minister Daniel David and the repeal of the measures from Law 141/2025. This law brings significant changes in education, such as increasing the teaching norm and cutting scholarships, without adequate analysis from the Ministry of Education, in Hăncescu's opinion.
