The allocation of 250 million lei is necessary to avoid the suspension of works on the new "Dimitrie Gerota" hospital, which will offer 490 beds and integrated medical services. The funding comes from the sale of reflective license plates and is regulated by a GEO. The hospital, the first emergency hospital recently built in Bucharest, will be completed by June 2026, with a total investment of over 2 billion lei, of which 1 billion lei from PNRR funds.
