Minister Alexandru Rogobete says Romania has sufficient stocks of saline solution, but hospitals in Brasov are facing delivery problems due to debts.

Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete said that there is no acute shortage of saline solution in Romania, with around five million vials in stock. However, hospitals in Brasov are facing delays in delivering the serum due to debts of more than 500,000 lei to distributors. Rogobete said that punctual situations of supply discontinuity are caused by hospital managers' choices to avoid public tenders. Local authorities are called upon to intervene to solve supply problems.
