They acted 'on a tip', after the nephew of the victimized man allegedly colluded with three other men and staged an accident with the victim's car, during which the safe was stolen, emptied and thrown into a reservoir in Giurgiu. The watches and documents stolen from the safe were found when the suspects' homes were searched.
