The Constitutional Court has on its agenda the objection of unconstitutionality formulated by the High Court of Cassation and Justice, regarding the recent amendments to the law on service pensions. Among the changes are the increase of the required seniority for the retirement of magistrates from 25 to 35 years and the reduction of the pension from 100% to 70% of the last net salary, with a transition period of 10 years. The Court's decision could be postponed until October 14 or 16.
