Automotive components manufacturer Forvia has confirmed the closure of its development center in Iași, a decision taken due to growing pressures in the European automotive industry. It follows the closure of the technical center in Oradea and will affect around 100 employees. Projections indicate a significant drop in vehicle production in Europe, which has led to strategic adjustments within the company. Forvia, which employs around 4,500 people in Romania, will provide support to the affected employees to help them reintegrate into the labor market.
