Daniel David has said the Education Ministry supports a 'zero tolerance' policy towards harassment in universities, following investigations into allegations of sexual abuse against sociologist Marius Pieleanu. A recent government decision allows anonymous complaints to be accepted and extends protection to victims. Four women have testified about events in the 1990s and 2000s and Pieleanu denies the allegations, claiming he is the victim of harassment. SNSPA will analyze the information and follow the appropriate legal procedures.
