Education Minister Daniel David said he cannot predict the magnitude of the boycott announced by teachers for the first day of school on September 8. They are protesting against an increase in the teaching norm and a reduction in hourly rates. Marius Nistor, president of the Spiru Haret Federation, confirmed the organization of a rally in front of the government. David warned that without measures to reduce the budget deficit, there will be no funds for scholarships and salaries.
