Claudiu-Constantin Sandu criticized the leadership of the SCM for starting the procedure for the appointment of the President of the Court of Cassation and Supreme Court of the Constitutional Court prematurely, in violation of the legal deadline. He emphasized that the SCM is not entitled to criticize other legal violations, given its own actions. Sandu argued that it is normal for the society to be disappointed with magistrates because of the results of their work, and proposed that magistrates should retire at 65, provided that they ensure an adequate workload.
