During August 21-22, 2025, a code yellow heatwave will affect Banat, Crișana, Oltenia, Muntenia and Dobrogea, with maximum temperatures between 35 and 38 degrees Celsius. The temperature-humidity index (ITU) will reach the critical threshold of 80 units, generating high thermal discomfort. In Bucharest, the weather will be scorching, with highs of 35-36 degrees. Meteorologists warn that atmospheric instability will increase, bringing rain and lightning. It is recommended to protect against excessive heat.
