The police in Orhei, together with prosecutors, conducted searches as part of an investigation into illegal drug and ethnobotanical trafficking. During the actions, marijuana and homemade devices for consuming banned substances were found and confiscated. Five people, four men and one woman, aged between 35 and 71, were detained for 72 hours. Authorities continue investigations to document the entire criminal activity and identify other implicated suspects.
