During the event "AI Day", Xpeng presented three models of robotaxis equipped with internal AI chips, named "Turing", having a processing capacity of 3,000 TOPS. These vehicles will integrate the "vision-language-action" (VLA) artificial intelligence system, essential for autonomous driving. Xpeng will collaborate with Alibaba to integrate the robotaxis into its ride-hailing platform, and tests will begin in 2026 in major cities in China. Additionally, Xpeng unveiled the humanoid robot "Iron", which will start series production next year, having applications as guides and assistants. Although the use of robots in households is not currently cost-effective, Xpeng hopes to sell more robots than electric cars in the next decade.
