WhatsApp has launched a feature to add short music videos to status updates, similar to Instagram Stories

The new feature, called Status, allows users to share photos, videos and text that disappear after 24 hours. With the update, users can tap on a music icon while creating a Status to browse and select from the millions of songs available. Music clips can be up to 15 seconds for photo-based status updates and up to 60 seconds for videos.
