The JUPITER supercomputer was inaugurated as the first European exascale system, performing over a quintillion operations per second. Ranked as the most powerful in Europe and the fourth in the world, JUPITER operates exclusively on renewable energy, having a significant impact on climate research and the development of artificial intelligence solutions. The joint investment of 500 million euros, part of the EuroHPC strategy, will support AI gigafactories in Europe, strengthening the computing power needed for innovation in the field of digital technologies.
