The European Commission has launched an investigation into how platforms such as Snapchat, YouTube, App Store, and Google Play protect minors in the online environment.

The investigation, conducted under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), targets age verification systems and measures to block minors' access to illegal products - such as drugs and electronic cigarettes - as well as harmful content, including materials that promote eating disorders.
