SpaceX conducted a test flight of the largest and most powerful Starship vessel, an improved version that will be used by NASA to send astronauts to the Moon. The spacecraft launched from southern Texas, carrying 20 simulated Starlink satellites.
This is the 12th test flight of the rocket, which is part of Elon Musk's plans to take people to Mars. Although the launch was initially scheduled for Thursday, technical issues led to its postponement.
Starship V3, with a height of 124 meters, surpasses the old models and has a greater thrust. SpaceX has begun accepting reservations for private flights to the Moon and Mars, and the first space tourist, Dennis Tito, booked a flight around the Moon three and a half years ago. The exact timing of this flight remains uncertain.
