Nvidia has announced the resumption of production of AI chips H200, intended for sale in China, according to statements from CEO Jensen Huang. Production had been suspended last year due to strict regulations in the US and China. Recently, the company obtained export licenses for the H200 chips, allowing them to resume deliveries to customers in China. Huang mentioned that orders have been received from numerous clients and that production is in the process of resuming. The H200 chips are essential for the development of large language models used by applications like ChatGPT. Additionally, Nvidia announced that, according to the agreement with the US government, 25% of the revenue obtained from the sales of these chips will be allocated to the United States. Huang emphasized the importance of maintaining a leadership position in technology for the US, while global competition continues.
