Google has announced that its new artificial intelligence model has scored over 91% on a US medical licensing exam.

The AI model, called Gemini, is optimized for the medical field and can process text, image, audio and video. Google is exploring the possibility of it supporting healthcare organizations, including radiology. The company also showcased several prototypes and trials, including a portable AI-enabled ultrasound scanner that could be useful in rural areas.
